Well, Mom's home from the hospital; they gave her diuretics to address the congestive heart failure issues, and her gut is getting better. But now Dad's in the hospital. He's being treated for bladder cancer, you may remember, and they use live tuberculosis bacteria for that--insert it into the bladder via a catheter. His first batch of treatments was uneventful, but the one he received today basically caused flu-like symptoms, including a fever over 102. Not uncommon--which I reminded my mom when she just called to tell me about dad, and which relieved her a little, because we'd discussed it before--but still.
If it weren't late, and if I weren't tired, I'd probably go on about one thing or another, but I'd rather sleep--tomorrow's the weekly Festival of Plain Croissants, after all.
